“Rok:Brgr owners to open Tacocraft” on SFBJ

JEY Hospitality, the company behind multiple restaurants including Rok:Brgr and Pizzacraft, has teamed up with the founders of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza to open the third location of Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar.

The more than 160-seat eatery, at 4400 N. Ocean Drive at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, will open in early 2019. The 4,000-square-foot Mexican concept will replace Athena By The Sea. It will offer a full liquor bar with more than 150 tequilas and a walk-up, take-out window.

Anthony Bruno and Pat Marzano, the original founders of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, and Marc Falsetto, CEO and Charles Hazlett of JEY Hospitality Group will operate the location. Its menu will include tacos, cocktails and margaritas with the choice of 120 different tequilas.

“We have been eyeing this area for several years, and we know that our handcrafted tacos and margaritas will be a hit for locals and visitors in the area looking for something unique,” Falsetto said.

JEY Hospitality is also behind Mercado Negro, Pizza Craft, the Apothecary 330 and Henry’s Sandwich Station.

The company is also building a new entertainment and dinning venue named Bungalow in Fort Lauderdale’s MASS District.
